Thanks for the reply lovey. I hope you can get her onto the BIN website then and I'll put her on our forum, and on the main Bull Terrier Club Welfare forum (she should get masses of hits on there, as with the BIN website). They both have a section for crosses/other breeds.
Do you think a downloadable poster for her would help? One of our members in the US is always very happy to do these to help spread the word for any particular dogs. I'll ask her to do one if you like?
She so needs a proper home after all this time, bless her, she looks so sweet.

Thank you so much Jo - that would be fantastic! I really appreciate your help with lovely Ollie

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
I have put Ollie on our forum, emailed the lady who can put her on the Bull Terrier Club Welfare forum and asked my friend in Florida to do her a poster (which she will try to do tomorrow).
Hope some of it helps Marie, she looks and sounds a lovely girl.

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Hi Marie,
Here's a link to her poster so it can be downloaded, printed off and displayed ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE to help spread the word about her....
Ollie's poster
And here it is for anyone not downloading it.....I think Maria has made a nice job of it...
It would be fab if it helped her, fingers crossed, I think she looks so appealing, I can't believe she has been waiting so long bless her.

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Have seen that lovely "Ollie" has made it onto the two forums Jo mentioned now - let's hope more people will see her and perhaps one of them will be that forever home she surely deserves x naomi

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Wow!! That poster is fantastic!! I am sure with all this help Ollie will stand a much better chance of finding her forever home. I cannot thank everyone enough for their support, especially Jo - you are very kind and we really appreciate your wonderful help with Ollie
I'll start printing the poster now! Please can other RHU members print the poster and display - it would be so lovely to get Ollie into a new home.
Many thanks

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
The last time I looked at Ollie on the DB website I'm sure it said she was now under a Great Dane rescue. The DB website is down for maintenance at the moment so I can't check.
If I'm right hopefully it will give her more chance as they no doubt have fewer dogs to rehome than DB.

Oh thanks Sophie....I didn't realise that.
Poor girl, she has been there such a long time, I hope someone will come along for her very very soon.

P.S. I thought she just needed a home Julie, and already had a rescue space with DB? Seems I am totally confused LOL! (Although that's probably why she's in this section!)
Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
hi all
Ollie is under the care of Great Dane Adoption Society in Boston,
DB boarded her there, but now they have taken her into their rescue, still trying to find her that loving home,
she is also listed on their website
http://www.danes.org.uk/special_dogs.htm
She has been in kennels a long time, well over a year, if anyone can offer her a home and give her a chance.
Can this thread be moved to the I need a home sections?
that way anyone interested can call the rescue direct to offer her a home
