Other: Betty can be quite nervous, although she will come to you if you are making a fuss of other dogs.
She is playful with anything, toys, cardboard, paper, leaves and probably the sofa too!
She will growl at most strangers, this is defensive though and not aggressive, but after a couple of days is now fine with her foster Mum.
We do not feel Betty is, at this stage, suitable to be homed with younger children
She is housetrained, travels well in the car and walks well on a lead.
Betty has obviously lived in a house before and copes well with normal household noises and flies up and down the stairs like a herd of elephants!
She meets other dogs cautiously but once she knows them would like to play and is OK with cats. She shows interest in the rabbits.
Betty is likely to be destructive if left and can reach the work surfaces in the kitchen! She will take anything but she learns quickly, and we can now eat a meal with her in the same room. She soon learnt that diving into the plate was not acceptable behaviour and she now ignores us when we are eating .
