Ollie - a special deaf girl
POSTED ON BEHALF OF DORIS BANHAM DOG RESCUE
OLLIE
Hi everybody my name is Ollie. I have been spayed,
I am about 2 years old and I was born deaf.
I am a very happy little girl and I love to play all day long.
I am very fit and healthy and need an adult only family who can spend a lot of time exercising me and playing with me with my favourite ball.
I know a few hand signals and am quite obedient but I can still learn more if you have the time to do some training with me.
It is important that I am an only pet because I would not be happy living with another dog or cat.
Like most Terriers I must be kept busy otherwise I get bored quickly, but once I have had my exercise I am happy to sleep in my nice warm basket for a few hours. If you think you have lots of spare time and energy please consider giving me the forever home that I so desperately need. I have been in rescue kennels for months now and although the people here love me and I love them I do need a family to call my own.
Lots of Love Ollie. xxxx
Ollie is currently at Boston kennels For more information please call Uncle Chris on 07971 578963
Trudie on 0208 3639634 (email: trudie.james@yahoo.co.uk)
Please visit our website: www.dogsos.co.uk to see many more lovely dogs
The Doris Banham Charity saves hundreds of pound dogs from destruction every month. If a rescue place cannot be found in time to save a dog’s life, we pay for a temporary boarding place. We would be extremely grateful for a donation to help with boarding costs to continue saving the lives of forgotten pound dogs like Ollie. We are funded solely by donation and 100% of funds are spent on the dogs. All our dogs are neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to re-homing. We will re-home to anywhere in the country subject to a satisfactory home check.

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Dear little Ollie is still waiting for that special person to come along and give her a forever home. She is so lovely - whoever adopts Ollie will be a very lucky person indeed. Poor lass just needs a chance.

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
OMG...this thread was started in July 2008 ...
I would say she is EBT x Staffie (but with more EBT) ....and absolutely beautiful with it .
Marie, have you tried to get her onto the Bullies In Need website as they have a section for EBT crosses?
B.I.N
Do you want me to copy her onto our forum and another bullie forum who also have a section for other breeds (inc crosses)???? She might be lucky and be spotted by someone.
There must be a good deaf dog forum that she could go on, but it is eluding me at the moment.
Any more ideas guys?

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Hi Jo
So sorry for not acknowledging your kind support and interest. I have only just seen your message.
I will see if I can get Ollie onto the BIN website. It would be very helpful to get her onto your forum and as many others as possible.
Thank you very much - I am very grateful.

Re: Ollie - a special deaf girl
Hi Marie
Thanks for the reply lovey. I hope you can get her onto the BIN website then and I'll put her on our forum, and on the main Bull Terrier Club Welfare forum (she should get masses of hits on there, as with the BIN website). They both have a section for crosses/other breeds.
Do you think a downloadable poster for her would help? One of our members in the US is always very happy to do these to help spread the word for any particular dogs. I'll ask her to do one if you like?
She so needs a proper home after all this time, bless her, she looks so sweet.
