Sometimes, the Oldies Club comes across dogs who - because of the physical or emotional damage they have suffered, or due to terminal illness - cannot be rehomed. In these, thankfully rare, cases we endeavour to provide long-term foster placements with experienced carers who will ensure these oldies know a loving, secure home for their final years.

If you decide to sponsor a dog, you will receive a Sponsorship Pack, containing a certificate and personalised letter from your sponsor friend, together with their full story.

9/10/08 Tammy has very sadly had to be put to sleep today. Our thoughts are with her foster mum who has taken such good care of Tammy for her final months.

Scooter's new vet has decided that he can come off the heart medication. Oldies Club will be there to support him if he needs them again in the future but the decision has been made to take him off being a sponsor dog in the mean time.

Sadly little Biscuit went to the bridge yesterday. His heart was causing too many problems which the meds could no longer control. he went with peace and dignity and is now painfree.
