The Great North Dog Walk - Volunteers Wanted!!!

From our North East regional coordinator Olive:-
The Great North Dog Walk is on on Sunday 14 June. It is 3.5m round walk, around South Shields and the coastline. The organiser of the event is kindly allowing me to have Oldies as one of the approved charities on the sponsor forms so I need some volunteers to walk, with their dogs (only one dog per person) and raise some funds for Oldies. The event is sponsored by Butchers and holds the record for the largest dog walk. It is not a strenous walk, and not a competition to see how can do it the quickest, it is a social event, with lots of people and their dogs raising money for various dog charities.
Please contact me if you can help. Further details can be found on www.cooksondogwalk.co.uk. I need to register fairly soon and get some sponsor forms so please try and help. If you can't do the walk, any sponsorship would be gratefully received!!

Amy, ive made contact with Olive. Waiting to hear from the organiser to see if sponsorship money can be donated to The Oldies Club and RHU. Will keep you updated
