NRBR Auction - 5 Dog Friendly Holidays to bid on!!

I know there is a section for this but I really wanted to highlight the amazing holiday's we'd had donated for the NRBR auction!! Please do move this mods if its inappropriate to post here. As well as the holidays, we have many lovely items for you and your dogs!! Please do have a look. You don't need to register to view but in order to bid you must. It only takes 2 ticks!

*3 day midweek break in Wales plus dogs!


*4 or 3 night break in the North York Moors for 2 plus dogs!


*1 Week Cottage Break in Cornwall for up to 4 plus Dogs!

Funds raised from the auction will be used to treat Ellie, our most recent heart-breaking neglect case.

Meet Ellie She is only 3 years old.

Ellie came to us this week after her elderly owners family handed her over. We were told by the family that this girl had been under vet treatment for months. Our vet said there was no way this girl had ever been seen as no vet would leave her un-treated like that.

She's in a real mess. Her skin has been left to rot for months, it's been untreated for so long that alot of her skin has turned black and died, most of it is full of infection and oozing puss. Her ears are closed up as she has massive infections inside, I try to lift the ear flaps up and they just ooze puss and blood.

Her eyes are badly infected. Her eyelashes turn in and have been scraping her eyes causing scarring/scrathes on her eyeballs, when we touch her eyes to put drops in lot's of puss comes out. Her eyes will be operated on once the infection is under control.

She can't walk very well, she's weak and sore. She doesn't want to get up, it has to be forced.

She's not got alot of life in her at the moment. She's in pain and the infection all over her will be knocking the hell out of her. It's not nice for her at the moment and to think she's been suffering like this for a long time! But she'll be ok in time. She got a carrier bag full of medication, Pain killers, anti-biotics, anti-inflams, eyes drops, eye drops, Stuff to bath her in to help bring down the surface infection. Hopefully these will all kick in soon so she'll feel abit better.

The vet can't do any skin scraps till the puss is under control. She absoloutly stinks of infection, she won't eat and she looks so sad. She reminds me of how Samson used to look and act when he first came to us.

Oh bless her, I hope she feels better soon.....poor little girl.

Why are owners not been prosecuted for cruelty??? This is diabolical nobody has any excuse for treating a dog like this
