GREY ELDERLY CAT LOST IN DAGENHAM ON THURS 16.7.09.

MISTY is around 8-10 years old and has a food allergy so doubley worried for her safety. I rehomed her to some lovely people a couple of years ago and normally she only spends a little time outside in an enclosed garden. She used to be feral and is still quite nervous and shy of strangers. she went missing on that awful stormy night in Essex 16.7.09 and the owners have spoken to all the neighbours and will leaflet again. I homed her before I started microchipping and I cannot recall if she is chipped or not. If she is handed into your rescue she may seem feral so please call me on 07931 661 380.

I phoned the RSPCA who have taken her details.

I also called the EMERGENCY LINE for Sat/Sun at RSPCA and guess what..... no reply. "Emergency Line?"
We are in the Harmsworth Hospital catchment and I am so worried they are going to put her to sleep.

Lauren it might be worth contacting Animal Ark in Goodmayes Road (near Goodmayes Station) Lyndon the head vet and owner (a friend of mine) has a reputation for taking some strays and unwanted animals. He often ends up with loads and sometimes they even go home with him!!!
He doesn't put healthy animals to sleep - he rehomes them

I have called RSPCA mainline, also called the Dagenham local RSPCA office. Also tried to contact Harmsworth Hospital in Holloway but no one answered the phone. And I have put her on Cat Chat and here. Paws crossed she is okay.
