What size crates are you after Goldie?

Also - would it be worth if we tried to find rescue places along the route of where you are going to?

Maybe some members on here who can't do some of the hands on type of things - could do some phoning round to find places - cos thats whats so desperately needed?

Thanks for this offer Goldie - if we can offer anything of help - please let me know.

Goldie wrote:Hi Tracy, I have purchased a small crate and a medium crate for transport and have a doggie harness for front seat. So in essense I could take a small dog, a staff or bichon type and a collie/bullie in front seat in seatbelt doggie harness. So far I have only had up to two dogs at a time. What size is your one, I suppose it would be handy just in case, what size dog would go in it?

Bobbyb, that info above about pounds might be best displayed on a separate thread, it may not get seen by that many people on my thread. I have a car, a hatchback Ford Escort, but I have the backseats down like a van with windows. Mostly I do cat rescue and this car is perfect for this kind of work. I am slowly getting a new car with all the parts I am replacing so trying to hand on to this one as long as poss.

Hi no sorry he doesn't got to Birmingham regularly, the trip Saturday was a one off for the pigeon. But he will go to Aylesbury Saturday if someone can tell us where.

Hayley I have lost the bit about the October boy, I think it is a rattie that has to wait for his new mummy to come back from her holidays, is that right?

Also Gilka, I hope to do
3rd Saturday in September if it will help you.
Rainrescue Jacquie had a good idea too. If I set up a run for you Gilka could someone else in rhu who cannot physically help but wants to make more of a mark, could they call around rescue groups that are en route from Wakefield to South, to see if there are any spaces free, so instead of long journeys to the south, they get dropped off along the way.

I could perhaps drive up on Friday night, stay the night and come back the next morning.

anyhow just bumping this up.
