Where has my topic gone?

A few days ago I posted a topic called "Reggie 7 year old GSD boy - Chester area, Fretting and needs a loving home" and have received an email to say someone has replied to it but when I try and look I get the message "Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum" :S I've tried pm'ing a mod but I then get the message "Sorry, but the administrator has prevented you from sending private messages". Can anyone shed some light on whats happened? Have I done something wrong?
