Er, I think the whole thread had vanished and there was just one post, saying it had been deleted (or maybe moved) but as I could still follow the link and see an explanation that time I thought something had gone wrong with my membership and panicked!

Interesting, it's back!

http://rescuehelpersunite.forumotion.com/rescue-helpers-unite-rescue-chat-f132/rescue-checking-discussion-t17473-100.htm#292465

I definitely got that message at the time I posted though. Just thought, was it hidden overnight? I am probably up and online before the moderators on some days. :-)

Hmm...as far as I know that the thread has always been visible? I may be wrong but I didn't notice it missing! Maybe just gremlins in the system scratch

It was moved from comments & suggestions to 'RHU General Chat' but if I recall that was 2 or 3 days before Linda had the issue. Very confusing!

Its ok, i have figured out that it is only on threads that are being locked due to people having an opinion Rolling Eyes

You are allowed to have an opinion as you are a mod Smile

Wherever possible threads are locked/removed for only a short time to allow for editing to prevent any rules being broken, it's not a personal thing towards anyone Wink

What has happened to the thread that was in this section earlier today where a member had questioned why they'd been asked to carry out an assessment on a dog when they were not qualified to do so? Has that been removed too? Can I please ask why? It seems absurd that whenever a thread appears that mods don't particularly like it gets automatically removed or posts get deleted. Isn't this concerning to anyone else?

With regard to the thread this morning it was a sensible discussion about a serious issue and now I am genuinely very concerned that I am a member on a site which obviously it would seem has something to hide.

Very peculiar.

Ah, thank you. Would it be possible to leave something in it's place so members know where to look? It's not easy to find threads on this site once they've been moved.
