Sherwood Forest, Notts.

Just had an urgent email from the manager of my local rescue centre warning me not to go to the woods with my dogs because 15 dogs have already died of suspected poisoning

I am looking after Jenny a delightful black cat. She came into me as an unwanted pregnant cat and had 5 gorgeous kittens. She was great mum but now she's in need of a new home for herself.

She loves the great outdoors but is a friendly and affectionate cat who will be happy to join you on the sofa after a busy day being " a cat "

She about two years old, gorgeous greenish eyes, is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed et al. Ready to go now.

Rhanni is an 8 year old GSD who needs a new home. Rhanni is currently in foster care and is said to be a sweet, gentle, loving girl. She can live with other dogs not sure about cats. Rhanni was placed in rescue along with another GSD who has since been rehomed. Rhanni had a problem with her ear in her younger days which was operated on, so her ear is a bit floppy. Since coming into rescue she has had a full dental, she is flead, wormed and vaccinated and spayed. Rhanni will make a wonderful companion.

Humphrey comes form a very loving home where his owners has always doted on him. He is a friendly Ragdoll and likes to roll over for a tummy tickle. he is not a lap cat and prefers to sit beside his owner, for a stoke on his head and under his chin. Although not very keen, Humphrey tolerates grooming and can be bribed into staying still, if he gets restless, with the use of some of his favourite treats. Charlie is 4 1/2 years old, he is a failed bomb sniffer dog. He was wearing a black collar when he went missing and can be quite jumpy and highly strung. Dog Lost are aware, but if anyone lives in or around Watford please keep an eye out for him, his owner is distraught obviously.

I have been to see this girl, she is deffo friendly and is pretty - black and white. I wouldn't have even know she had FIV, she was only tested because this lady who traps independently almost always tests strays with a full bloods. I think the cat is probably about two years old and probably has a very long life ahead of her if she is loved and pampered and not exposed to secondary infection from other cats. Can anyone offer her a home?. This may be a good one for a flat or a closed-in garden. ...

I am all up for it, I will have before, during & after pics taken & will post them for all to see, any money raised will all be going to the Cane Corso UK & Molosser kent Kennel fund.

I would, once a month, do a full run from M25/A12 up to the Manchester/Liverpool/Doncaster sort of area and back again. This would be at my own cost. I've suggested postering the whole village, phoning CPT and local cat rescues, vets and pet shops.

Is there a central web site for lost cats at all? like doglost - but for cats?

But there must be someone out there who has a garden and wouldn't mind these two old cats to live our their lives, they have been dematted and MOT'd by the vet. One has had 20 teeth removed, many of which were crumbling and pussey, but the other's teeth were okay.
