Does the animal have rescue back up?: YES
Location: KENT
Type/Breed/Variety:
Sex: CORSO

Name(s): TILLY
Colours: FAWN
Neutered: YES
Reason for rehoming: Hand in by owners
Temperament: Lived with young childrem Was an only dog, but is having great fun romping around with other dogs. Walks well on halti. Wasn't keen on being left alone, but this is improving.
Medical problems: Cherry eye, this has been operated on.
Neutering: Animal will be neutered unless for medical reasons. Can this be guaranteed? Has been spayed by CCUK&MR

From Sharon: Tilly is coming on really well, yes she is trying to be a fussy eater but is now learning this is your food eat it now or it is taken away and you get nothing else
For a dog that has not lived with other dogs this is when she is happiest, she loves games with all dogs whatever the size, she is walking well on a halti harness
I have now taken her to a foster home as it is so busy at my house at the moment and she seems to really like it there, she really likes playing with the Boxer's, good taste in friends I say
I think she would love an active home where she is keeping her mind going, there is no trouble with her eating her food when her body and brain is worked, she is also now being left for a couple of hours with no problem, if she is tired then she can be left, she is showing all the traits of an 8 month old puppy
She loves people if she has time to work them out for herself she does not like people going straight to her at the moment she needs to study them first
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tilly had all her ops August 13th and everything went well. (Cherry eye; spay; dew claws)
When I got to the vet she was still a bit sleepy when she saw me she went to stand up but then noticed she had green bandages on her back legs well that was it she decided her legs had been cut off and flopped to the floor, for the next hour I tried to get her to stand but she kept turning round looking at her legs as if to say how do you think I am going to stand with no legs, well in the end we put her on a stretcher and carried her out to the car, she had her head up looking very regal, you should have seen the looks and heard the laughter by all that saw us
