Sam-Wonderful little JRT
Contact/organisation details: Friends of The Animals RCT
Does the animal have rescue back up?: Yes
Location: Wales
Type/Breed/Variety: Jack Russell Terrier
Sex: Male
Name(s): Sam
Colours: White & tan
Neutered: Yes
Sam was a hand in because he doesn't like children.
He needs a home with experienced terrier people and no children or cats. Sam gets on well with other dogs.
He will need to be given time to trust with no pressure put on him and where he is allowed to gain confidence at his own pace. We think he has had some harsh treatment in the past and now needs an understanding home.
He has been neutered and vaccinated. He has had a visit to the vet and has been diagnosed with a slipping patella. This is a very common fault with little dogs and usually requires no further treatment. His weight will have to be controlled but otherwise life should carry on as normal for this little man.
Poor Sam is a lovely little boy, when he gets to know you. It doesn't take him long to realise when someone is his friend and then he gives lots of kisses when he sees you .
He is a fab little Terrier who needs to learn how to trust again.
