Meet Pirate



Pirate came to us from a loving family home, he's been there since being a pup. Pirate is friendly, used to kids and dogs. He won't be rehomed with children.

Pirate needs an extra special home. The problem with him is he's never been on a lead. If we put a lead on he panics and can become fear aggressive. Pirate looking for a new owner who has a large garden that he can play ball in etc to keep him exercised. He looking for someone who is willing to put the time into getting him slowly introduced to a lead. He does wear a collar. This is going to take alot of time an patience, hopefully there is someone willing to give this lad a chance.

Pirate Sails in.............


He`s here Thumbs-up'' Weve just been and collected pirate from the kennels ( I could have brought them all home)

He walked on the lead from the kennel to the car and wasnt too bad, He just tries to bite the lead

In the car on the way home he was fine climbed over from the back to back seats and went to sleep

Hes very thin but with what he`s just eaten since he arrived I dont think that will be an issue for long *yay*

Half tin of pedigree, Bowl of cobbydog dry, 2 sausage and 2 ginger biscuits!!!

Hes already smothered foster grandma in kisses and has been rolling round on his back on the sofa

Further improvement for the boy Been out walking again on the moors for an hour and he only tried to bite at the lead once

Hes letting us put the lead on and take it off and restrain him by the collar without even turning his head now

So far weve been up and out early to avoid contact with other ppl and dogs but as he gets better and bette were gonna go a bit later each day so we start bumping into the odd perewson and dog to see how he is

He carrys on improving like this!!!

What an amazing difference a few days can make....................keep it going
